“Apple ID Couldn’t be Found”, iTunes and iCloud services failure

Wide-ranging problem with iTunes and iCloud services on December 16th (today) causing global iTunes and iCloud users unable to login into iTunes or iCloud services.
“The Apple ID you entered couldn’t be found or your password was incorrect. Please try again.”
Apple system status shown that all iCloud services are online, thought the current date seems to be outdated.
Apple may doing maintenance on their data center, we’ll let you know the update.
UPDATE: “Apple ID Couldn’t be Found” problem seem to be resolved according to numerous users’ report. But some users having problem like payment information after the outage. “Your payment method information doesn’t match your bank’s records. Try again or enter a new payment method.” which is fine before the outage happen.
