Confirmed, Apple iPhone 5 release date on September 12th!
This news has been spreading all over iPhone blog, we previously also reported that Apple will unveil the 6th-generation iPhone on September 12th and will be available on September 21st according to iMore, reliable iPhone rumors site.
Previously, a French site App4Phone.fr pointed to a September 21 of iPhone 5 release date based on intel from Chinese manufacturing sources.
Not only iMore, Reuters also reported that Apple iPhone 5 will be uneveiled at major September 12 event, according to a source who familiar with the plan. Bloomberg also confirmed that Apple plans to unveil the iPhone 5 on September 12th. However, between the three unnamed sources cited in the two reports, none made any mention of the “iPad mini” as reported by iMore which said to be unveiled on the September 12th alongside a new iPod nano.
Jim Dalrymple of The Loop issued a simple one-word “Yep” response to iMore’s original Monday report which claimed Apple will hold a special event on Wednesday, Sept. 12 to launch the next-generation iPhone. He joins additional reports from iMore, All Things D, and others, all citing anonymous sources.
The iPhone 5 would offer a 4-inch, 16:9 screen, while all new iOS devices would come with a smaller Dock connector. Furthermore, you can check the iPhone 5 specification details we published earlier.
The launch of Apple iPhone 5 are among the biggest affairs on Silicon Valley’s calendar, scrutinized by technology investors, enthusiasts and consumers alike.
The September 12 date may shift, the source said on condition of anonymity.
