Make Photos Icons on SpringBoard with SBPhoto – iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad
SBPhoto is a simple cydia apps that will let you create shortcut of your favorite pictures. Let’s say I’ve thousand photos in Camera Roll or favorite picture in other folders. Sometimes, it takes time to find it and the family or friends would get bored before I can show the photos/pictures.
So, instead let your friends or family gets bored while waiting you finding the photo, you can show up the photo with a simple tap from the homescreen using SBPhoto apps from Cydia.
You could also put your favorite photo on the homescreen for instant access to the photo with SBPhoto.
Let’s get it started.
First, open up Cydia and search for SBPhoto and install it by tapping Install on the top right hand corner of the screen.
Once you’ve installed SBPhoto, you don’t need to re-spring and you should see the SBPhoto app icon right away on your homescreen. Tap on the SBPhoto icon to launch up the application.
Then you can select a photo and make that it’s own little application. There are only three simple steps to create photos icon: Select Photo, Type icon caption, tap Create Photo Icon.
First press Select Photo, then press Camera Roll and select a photo you wish to use. Press Choose to select the photo you wish to use.
Then press Icon Caption and then type in a caption you want to use. In video example, I’ve chosen a photo of a house and given it the caption House. Press Done when finished.
Then press Create Photo Icon and a pop-up dialog will be asking “Are you Sure?” and tap Yes to continue. Now SBPhoto will create its own little application on your home screen. It takes a little bit of time to appear on your home screen, but if you just wait a few seconds it will appear.
Then you can click on the photo icon and it will open up the picture. It’s great for showing photos to friends or family and quick to use as it’s just one click to open the picture.
That’s it for this video.
