Fix Duplicate sources.list entry cydia

Duplicate sources.list entry http://*repo*/*** Packages /var/lib/apt/lists/*repo***

Every time Cydia reload, refresh package, upgrade, or update repository, Cydia shows this error message. Duplicate sources.list entry error appears due to duplicate repository of cydia packages sources in sources.list directory.

 

 

How-to fix Duplicate sources.list entry on Cydia.

  • Connect to your iPhone or iPod touch WinSCP, iPhoneBrowser, iFunxBox, or iPhoneExplorer. –Alternatively, you can use iFile to manages files on iPhone or iPod Touch.
  • Navigate to /private/etc/apt/sources.list.d/
  • Delete all *.list files, except the cydia.list. cydia.list is the only file that must be exist in /private/etc/apt/sources.list.d/

    Delete through WinSCP

  • Tap Changes on the bottom menu in Cydia → tap Refresh. Now, you should not see “Duplicate sources.list entry” error anymore.
