Starting from iOS 5 jailbreak, redsn0w get a lot of updates and improvements, and also bugs. One of the most common error while jailbreaking iOS 5 with redsn0w is Exploit Failed.

Starting from redsn0w 0.9.10b* numerous users getting error, exploit failed redsn0w 0.9.10b6, exploit failed redsn0w 0.9.10b5, exploit failed redsn0w 0.9.10b3 and so on.

To fix exploit failed on redsn0w any versions, follow these tips one by one.

  • Make sure that you have the latest redsn0w version installed. Download redsn0w.
  • If you have the latest version of redsn0w already, or the exploit failed error still comes up, try to keep holding the home button on the last DFU step.
