A few days ago, siri has been successfully ported to older devices like iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4th generation, and even iPhone 3GS.
Since it requires pieces of files from a jailbroken iPhone 4S, it means that H1Siri breaks out the copyright infringement flags.
Besides, it also requires a validation token from the iPhone 4S that has to be taken “live” from a jailbroken iPhone 4S. Troughton-Smith, developer that previously showed-off GUI of siri on iPhone 4 (without actually working) has rejected to distribute ported siri into Cydia due to legal status.
Besides the copyright infringement problem, your privacy with H1Siri is not safe, not really safe. chpwn already tweeted that:
if you use a proxy (H1Siri) to access Siri, YOU MAY BE SENDING YOUR Email, SMS, Calendar, Contacts, Location, etc though that server (H1Siri’s server).
So, it is really a bad idea if you want to keep your privacy while you have H1Siri installed on your devices.
This video explains why it is really bad idea to keep your privacy while using H1Siri
So, you better remove H1Siri from iPhone if you already installed it to stay out of trouble.
