How-to Jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 Untethered with Corona 5.0.1 Untether

Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 is here. As I’ve said before that would be userland jailbreak (just like JailbreakMe does).

The following devices are compatible with Corona iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak:

1. iPhone3GS
2. iPhone 4
3. iPhone 4 CDMA
4. iPad 1
5. iPod touch 3rd Generation
6. iPod touch 4th Generation

Okay, here is the quick guide how-to get iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak with Corona.

NOTE:
If CORONA 5.0.1 UNTETHER is not found on Cydia, please use redsn0w for iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak and DESELECT Install Cydia option if you have jailbroken before. If you are not yet jailbroken, install cydia option IS A MUST!

First. You must be jailbroken already. If you already have followed senseiphone guide how-to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 tethered with redsn0w

1. Open Cydia and let it updating first.
2. Once done, search and install on Cydia: Corona 5.0.1 Untether

   

3. Tap Install → Confirm → Reboot

Now, you have iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS (old and new bootrom), iPod Touch 3rd and 4th generation, also iPad 1.

If you are not jailbroken already, please use redsn0w 0.9.10b1 instead. Guide coming soon.
