Earlier today, Apple released iOS 6.1 to the public. This being important to the jailbreak community because we are that much closer to seeing the long awaited jailbreak for both the iPhone 5 & iPad Mini.

With the public release of iOS 6.1, MuscleNerd, a jailbreak developer associated with Evad3rs, tweeted this morning stating it is safe to update to iOS 6.1.
