iPhone Backup Location on Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP

Where is the iPhone backup location on Windows? If you are a Windows users and always sync your iPhone on Windows, either Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP, you will have the iPhone backup files copied by iTunes on specific folders.

iPhone Backup Location on Windows7 Vista XP

So, where is the iPhone backup files on Windows?

If you are a Windows XP user, the iPhone backup files can be found on
C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\Apple Computer\Mobile Sync\Backup

If you are a Windows 7 or Windows Vista user, the iPhone backup files can be found on
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup

Note:

  • C: is the current harddisk drive where your Windows is installed on. If your Windows 7/XP/Vista was installed on driver D:, E:, F: or other drive location, simply change the C: to your own driver letter.
  • [USERNAME] is your Windows logon username.

You can access the iPhone backup folder through My Computer.
