iPhone Sleep/Wake button is located in the top corner of the iPhone.

You can lock the iPhone by pressing the sleep/wake button. You will get a notification when you received an incoming calls or text messages. If you touch the iPhone screen when the iPhone locked, nothing happens.
iPhone can still receive calls, text messages, and other updates.
You can also:
- listen to music
- adjust the volume using the buttons on the side of iPhone (or on the iPhone earphones) while you’re on a phone call or listening to music
- use the center button on iPhone earphones to answer or end a call, or to control audio playback
By default, iPhone screen will be locked automatically if you don’t touch the iPhone screen for one minute. You can change this settings.

To Lock iPhone, Press the Sleep/Wake button.
To Unlock iPhone, Press the Home button or the Sleep/Wake button, then drag the slider.
To Turn iPhone completely off, Press and hold Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then drag the slider. When iPhone is off, incoming calls go straight to voicemail.
To Turn iPhone on, Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
