If you do a lot of social networking, or you message or e-mail people a lot, then you may be interested in a new add-on for Action Menu calledQuickShare for Action Menu (iOS 7) by iOS developer Merlin.
This add-on will add social sharing options to the copy/paste menu that is brought up when you tap and hold on something. The add-on gives you options for sharing to Facebook, Twitter, Messages, and even Mail. The tweak supports photos, text, URLs, and more.
You can see how the tweak shows the social sharing options in the copy/paste menu in the screenshot example above. If we were to tap on the Twitter button, for example, after tapping and holding on the image, we would get a Tweet sheet with the photo automatically attached to it:
Tapping on the Facebook button would do the same, except you’d see a Facebook sheet, tapping on the Messages button would attach the photo to a new text message/iMessage, and tapping on the Mail button would compose a new e-mail with the photo attached.
If you’re using the tweak to share something large, like an image, you might have to wait a couple of seconds for the add-on to load all the way. If you’re just using text, it should be rather snappy as expected.
If you want to give QuickShare for Action Menu (iOS 7) a try, it’s available in Cydia’s BigBoss repository for 99¢. It requires iOS 7 to be installed and if you don’t already have Action Menu, it will be installed too.
