redsn0w 0.9.8b1 now available for both Windows and Mac. Yes, the iPhone Dev-Team just released redsn0w 0.9.8b1 windows version. Since Apple now provides Windows iTunes 10.5 for iOS 5 and iCloud developers, it’s no longer the case that only Mac owners can legitimately activate their devices. iPhone Dev-Team now provide a Windows version of redsn0w for Windows developers as well.
What is redsn0w 0.9.8b1?
redsn0w 0.9.8b1 is jailbreak tool released by iPhone Dev-Team to allow you jailbreak iOS 5 beta 1 on iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPad 1, also iPod Touch 3rd and 4th generation.
redsn0w usually enable hacktivation to let you bypass normal activation process, but MuscleNerd told us that redsn0w 0.9.8b1 doesn’t hacktivate iOS 5 beta.
