Where is Sleep & Wake Button on iPhone?
It’s the black rectangular button on its upper right edge.

All iPhone models has the same location for Sleep / Wake button. It has the same function. You can lock the iPhone by pressing the sleep/wake button. The Sleep/Wake button is also known as the On/Off switch.
You will get a notification when you received an incoming calls or text messages. If you touch the iPhone screen when the iPhone locked, nothing happens.
iPhone can still receive calls, text messages, and other updates.
Where is iPad Sleep/Wake button?
Sleep Wake button is on the upper right hand side of the top of your iPad. It’s primarily used to put the iPad to sleep or to wake it up and also known as the On/Off switch.
