Unlock Baseband 2.0.10 iPhone 4S with R-SIM III
R-SIM III, the new version of R-SIM Rgknse now supports Baseband 2.0.10 iPhone 4S Unlock. Follow the tutorial provided below to unlock your iPhone 4S baseband 2.0.10 (also supports baseband 1.0.14, 1.0.13, 1.0.11).
Unlock AT&T iPhone 4S with R-SIM III
For example, I want to unlock my AT&T iPhone 4S and use my Red Pocket SIM-card in it. Follow this guide to unlock AT&T iPhone 4S baseband 2.0.10:
- Turn-off the iPhone 4S, put the R-SIM III along with Red Pocket micro-SIM card (or any SIM card you wanted to use) in the custom micro-SIM tray from R-SIM and then insert it to the iPhone 4S SIM slot and then turn it on.
- Once iPhone 4S finished reboot, tap on Settings → Phone → SIM Applications and you’ll see ready-to-unlock network lists
- Tap on US ATT
- Just wait a few minutes and you have successfully unlocked baseband 2.0.10 and now you should have signal on your iPhone 4S.

R-SIM III to Unlock Baseband 2.0.10 AT&T iPhone 4S
Unlock Sprint/Verizon iPhone 4S with RSIM III
For example, I want to unlock my Sprint iPhone 4S and use my Red Pocket SIM-card in it. Remember, your iPhone 4S must be jailbroken in order to use R-SIM III Rgknse to unlock it (click to see How-To Jailbreak).
Follow this guide to unlock CDMA (Verizon and Sprint) iPhone 4S baseband 2.0.10:
- Add to Cydia repo:
http://v.backspace.jp/repo and http://www.iglive.cn/cydia - Once done. Search and install from Cydia the following packages:
CommCenter * Patch and iPhone4S Network Package
- Reboot device, insert Red Pocket micro-SIM card (or any SIM card you wanted to use) along with R-SIM III in the custom micro-SIM tray from R-SIM and then insert it to the iPhone 4S SIM slot.
- Once iPhone 4S finished reboot, tap on Settings → Phone → SIM Applications and you’ll see ready-to-unlock network lists
- Select US SPR (for US Sprint iPhone 4S) / US VE (for US Verizon iPhone 4S)

- Wait 2-3 minutes while your iPhone 4S being unlocked. Once finished, you should see a signal bar with the carrier name of the SIM-card you use and ready to use.

But, if your carrier is not listed by default, you can use GetCarrierCode feature on R-SIM III.
It requires the official SIM-card where the iPhone 4S locked to.
For example: I have a locked AT&T iPhone 4S and want to use AUSTRALIA Vodafone SIM-card in it. Follow this guide to use GetCarrierCode feature of R-SIM III.
- I need an active AT&T SIM-card (where my iPhone 4S locked to). Insert the AT&T SIM-card along with R-SIM III and then turn on the iPhone 4S.
- Once iPhone 4S ready, tap on Settings → Phone → SIM Applications. Scroll-down and select GetCarrierCode.
- Now turn off the iPhone and take out the AT&T SIM-card (the official iPhone’s SIM-card) and replace with it with AUSTRALIA Vodafone SIM-card (or any SIM card you wanted to use) along with the R-SIM III, and re-insert to the iPhone 4S.
- Turn back on and now the iPhone 4S baseband 2.0.10 should be unlocked and ready to use with the SIM-card you just inserted.
